Small cove where palm trees mix with pines. You
can enjoy the scenery of the local fishermen's small boats
anchored close to the shore. It is easily reached, as cars can
drive almost as far as the sand.
The
beach, a good sheltered and calm Cala (inlet), with it's fine
white sand is ideal for young children. The beach bar, Los
Bucanero open from around 10:AM. serves drinks, snacks and light
meals is very good. There's public lavatories, sun beds, sun
brolleys and pedalos for hire.
Walking
further west along the coast you come to a roundabout, the road
going inland takes you to Sant Lluis and Mahon, passing the
Binicudi apartments on the brow of the hill overlooking
Binibequer. Following the coast again 200 meters along is the
Palomino apartments and Garden Village right on the edge of the
sea. The Palomino block houses a small supermarket, gift shop,
two restaurants, the Palomino Bar and the Smugglers.
