This old-fashioned seaside village has a large beach, especially good
for children since it remains shallow all the way out to the small islet
opposite (Illa d'en Colom). The beach at Es Grau has good
facilities, including sunloungers and pedaloes for hire and there are some
charming restaurants in the village.

Behind the beach, dunes and pine
woods lead to a lake called S'Albufera. This lake forms the focus
of a national park and biosphere reserve designed to protect the ecosystem
and wildlife within. Visitors are welcome to enjoy peaceful strolls here,
and it is very popular with birdwatchers. The combination of Es Grau's
beach and this tranquil reserve make for a very relaxing holiday.
